Movie Night 1: An Inquiry Into Racial Equity History & Courage

  • Unitarian Church of Evanston 1330 Ridge Avenue Evanston, IL, 60201 United States (map)

Join the Unitarian Church of Evanston's Racial Equity Team & OPAL (with free popcorn!) for the first movie night of three.

This evening (January 16) and the next (January 23) include short films that provide insight into where we've been and where we can go. These include archival footage of a 1960's march in Cicero, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's "Danger of the Single Story," and Jay Smooth's lesson on maintaining equity hygiene- you don't just brush your teeth once and be done for life!
